Laxey Glen Mills has applied for retrospective planning permission to replace doors and windows on its site office.
The company, based on Mill Road, says it wants to replace doors and windows with double glazing.
In its application it says the replacements would mean a warmer environment.
It also adds the PVC replacements would reduce maintenance and energy costs.
