Jurby commissioners say they'll go ahead with a meeting about the airfield tonight - despite a U-turn by government.
The commissioners say the airfield plans will be the only item on the agenda when they gather in Jurby Parish Hall from 7pm.
The Department of Infrastructure pulled its submission to the Draft North and West Plan inquiry after opposition to proposed changes.
But the local authority says it'll press ahead with tonight's meeting.
