The government's adding 71 entries to its Iranian nuclear sanctions list.
This keeps the Island in line with EU and UK regulations which impose sanctions on the Iranian regime, pressuring it to abandon its nuclear weapons programme.
It's also part of complying with UN obligations.
Island businesses now have a responsibility to freeze the assets of any clients on the list.
