The Isle of Man Ship Registry is helping develop a high-tech sail.
The AirWing aims to help ships go green by reducing fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
The registry says it worked closely with engineers in Hull to develop it and the technology is being trialled on routes between Europe and Canada.
