The Isle of Man Post Office has planned a programme of activities and events to mark 50 years of postal independence for the Island.
There will be an exhibition at the Manx Museum, a reception to thank key customers and suppliers, and Island wide treasure hunt.
The Post Office will also work with the Manx Wildlife Trust to plant 50 trees as part of the Queen's Green canopy initiative.
A set of seven commemorative stamps will also be issued on July 5, the day of the anniversary.
