IoM launches fintech scheme

It's hoped the 'Innovation Challenge' will maintain economic growth in the tech sector.

Digital Isle of Man and Finance Isle of Man have joined forces with the Isle of Man Financial Services Authority to launch a fintech 'Innovation Challenge.'

The challenge will invite businesses to develop creative, sustainable and technology based solutions to a current issue in the financial services industry and will support the winning applicant to take their proposition to market.

Dr Alex Allinson, Minster for Enterprise, says cross-government collaboration is vital to maintain economic growth and this initiative is a wonderful example of this in action.
