The Island's Creamery is reminding people not to put household rubbish in carton recycling points.
It comes after the company found two bin bags in its recycling bin at Tesco, making it more difficult to go through the recycling process as the cartons had been contaminated,
It also means that someone has to go through and separate the items that shouldn't be there.
The Creamery says to be able to continue to provide the recycling service, it's asked that people are mindful and only deposit clean, crushed cartons.
