The Island branch of the Institute of Directors welcomes the 'clarity and future direction' provided by the UK general election result.
That's according to its chair, Jennifer Houghton, who says the organisation will be watching with interest to see how Brexit unfolds and the implications the new era will have on the Manx economy and business community.
Boris Johnson and the Conservative Party secured a big victory in the UK election whilst the Labour Party suffered its worst performance since 1935.
Jennifer adds the IOD is confident the Island government will continue to strengthen its relationship with Westminster to ensure the voices of local people and businesses is heard.
