Property developer Dandara says it'll start demolishing a derelict hotel in Port Erin after the TT.
The company says work will begin to knock down the Royal Hotel after winning planning permission to transform the site into apartments.
The work is expected to take around three months to complete and a traffic management plan will be put in place on the Promenade to keep road closures to a minimum.
Commercial Director David Thomas says the hotel has lain unused since 2008 and the project will improve the Promenade's appearance.
