A new board for the Island's hospitality industry has welcomed a government U-turn on the minimum wage.
Plans had been in place to raise it in April, and then again in October to £13.05 an hour - but yesterday the second rise was scrapped.
Hospitality Isle of Man welcomed the change saying it would be a huge relief for many businesses in hospitality and the wider economy.
The board was set up last September after businesses complained they were facing a bleak future because of rising costs and lower spending.
