Ballakermeen High School is bidding for a cash boost from the Tesco Bags of Help Initiative.
The Supermarket chain asks shoppers to vote for three local community causes to receive grants of either £5,000, £2,000 or £1,000.
The school wants people to use their votes to help make the school a 'greener and pleasanter site' - they'll use the grant to plant extensive bushes, trees, flowers and shrubs in the areas students can hang out and relax in at school.
