Hartford Homes has begun planting its new Micro Forest in Ramsey.
Working with the Manx Wildlife Trust and Ramsey Town Commissioners, the Micro Forest will grow to become a thriving area of urban woodland at Royal Park.
Just under 70 pupils from Bunscoill Rhumsaa helped with the planting on March 24, after Andree Dubbeldam from the Manx Wildlife Trust visited the school to explain the environmental benefits.
The Royal Park Micro Forest is the first of several planned schemes which will be rolled out at further developments and selected sites in the future.
