Fibre internet accounts for half the Island's connections, according to figures from the telecoms regulator.
The Communications and Utilities Regulatory Authority has issued its market statistics report for the first quarter of this year.
In it, the organisation says 50 per cent of the Island's internet connections are fibre, with VDSL making up 29 per cent.
ADSL account for just 17 per cent while wireless internet makes up just four per cent of the market.
