The government's Financial Assistance Scheme helped create 284 jobs on the Island last year.
That's according to The Enterprise Act Annual Report 2020/21, which showed the scheme, which was separate to any Covid-19 support, offered over £6.7m to local businesses.
The report also shows that from March 2020 to November 2021, over £26.9m of financial assistance was given by the Department for Enterprise through Covid-19 business support measures.
