Douglas will be hosting government finance leaders from the world's poorest and remotest countries to learn from the island's expertise at a seven-day academic conference this weekend.
Delegates from 19 countries, from Africa to the Caribbean, will meet at the Nunnery for the annual Small Countries Financial Management Programme.
Among them will be high-level officials from the visiting nations' finance ministries and central banks, who will hear talks on leadership and project management.
The event will run from Saturday, June 28.
