Election Special: Douglas Central candidates talk business

The Isle of Man’s General Election takes place on September 22nd – one of the hot topics ahead of the vote is the state of the Island’s economy.

In the Business News today we’ll hear the thoughts of the candidates standing in the constituency of Douglas Central.

First up is Kurt Buchholz – he says he believes there is still room to diversify the Island’s economy:

Richard Falk is hoping to take one of the two seats available in the constituency – he believes without radical change the Island could be ‘bankrupt’ before the end of the next parliament:

Former Douglas West MHK Chris Thomas is hoping to retain his seat in the House of Keys – he says if incomes rise the government would benefit too:
