More focus needs to be put on the local economy on the Isle of Man.
That's according to the Economic Development Minister who says it's one of his priorities after being reappointed to the role.
Laurence Skelly will be quizzed on the issue in Tynwald today - he'll be asked whether the economy is diverse enough and if not what he plans he has to address this.
He says whilst we are doing well at bringing in money from elsewhere we need to refocus on-Island and that starts with improving our tourism offering:
Chance of comeback for city centre takeaway
Workshop about neurodivergence in the workplace
Island to host major shipping conference
Regulator publishes info packs to prepare firms for MONEYVAL
what3words founder to visit Island
Conference of Human Performance to feature industry leaders
Teenage businessman to give talk on 3D printing
