Dr Michelle Haywood has joined the Department for Enterprise with responsibility for Business Isle of Man.
Department minister Tim Johnston says her business experience and analytic, solution-driven approach makes her a valuable addition.
Dr Haywood was first elected to the House of Keys in 2021, and was appointed as member for both the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture and Department of Health and Social Care.
