Police are reminding dog owners to be responsible after a number of chickens were hurt.
Officers say they received reports of dogs off leads near Archallagan Plantation, leading to the incident.
Owners are now asked to keep their dogs under control when out in the countryside.
And landowners and farmers are urged to report any such incidents to police.
