The Strand Centre's new owners have applied to put up advertising signs around the building.
Sports Direct has asked for planning permission to put a number of signs on the shopping centre in Strand Street in Douglas.
In the application, the UK-based company says it wants to put two illuminated signs on the front and back of the building, which is currently undergoing a refurbishment.
It's also applied for permission to replace the current vertical Strand Centre signs with Sports Direct branding.
