At around 12.50am crews responded to reports of a yacht that was stranded on a beach near to Jurby.
When they arrived, they found Ramsey coastguards were already at the scene.
The vessel had two people on board - both were unharmed and wearing life jackets.
They had to tow two lines because of adverse weather conditions - the casualties were then safely towed back to Peel at 4.20am.
