A new platform is being set up to give charities a stronger voice to connect with local businesses.
Isle of Man Chamber of Commerce has launched a Charity Forum to support its charity members, which is also designed to allow voluntary groups to collaborate, share ideas and provide another channel for communicating with government and the business community.
The initiative is in partnership with the Council for Voluntary Organisations (CVO) and supported by a wide range of organisations operating in the third sector.
Charity Forum Chair, Richard MacNee, says it's long been recognised volunteering and fundraising can provide learning and leadership opportunities as well as increase productivity and engagement among businesses.
