Business throws open doors for next Christmas

A business in Douglas is inviting people who may be spending the festive season alone for Christmas dinner next year.

The Shake Lounge, on Marina road in Douglas opened its doors earlier this month for locals to enjoy a festive meal with all the trimmings.

After a successful day the company says they'll open again next year for those in need of company, or those who don't have any family to go to, free of charge.

Coffee mornings and fundraisers will be organised throughout 2018 to raise the money to fund the festivities in December 2018.
