Business opinions sought for new look produce labels

Business and consumer feedback is being sought on new food labels for local produce.

The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture has conducted months of research to create a label which stands out to consumers as part of the Food Matters Strategy.

DEFA is now ready to show off the draft designs to see what buyers and producers think - the feedback meetings will take place on November 7th and 8th at 6pm at Noa Bakehouse.

The label will be used to show produce grown, reared, caught or processed on the Island or for items which contain mostly Manx ingredients.
