Briefing aims to give technological edge

The first in a series of workshops designed to give Island IT professionals a competitive edge has been held in Douglas.

Cisco, with assistance from Manx Telecom experts hosted a briefing for nearly 50 businesses from big to small at IOM Business Park aimed at showing organisations how to get ahead of the game when it comes to technology and innovations.

Head of Enterprise Services and Solutions at Manx Telecom, Fergal McLoughlin, says Manx IT professionals are at a disadvantage compared to UK counterparts as they have a choice of regular, similar events in most cities.

MT is expected to give details of its next briefing - hosted by Mitel - in due course.
