Local businesses are set to receive a boost thanks to a new Bike to Work Scheme.
The initiative - which it's hoped will encourage employees to commute to work on two wheels - was announced in this year's Budget.
Tax incentives will be offered to employers who provide employees with a bike and safety equipment.
One of the stipulations imposed by the Treasury is that purchases must be made from an Island retailer - something welcomed by Gavin Quayle from Bikestyle:
