The latest statistics from the Island's financial regulator shows total lending by banks has risen more than 29 per cent in the last three years.
The Financial Services Authority has released its Banking Statistical Bulletin for the end of 2023.
In it, it says banks lent a total of £7.2 billion in 2020 - but that figure stood at £9.3 billion at the end of last year.
The FSA report also shows the number of people employed by banks in the Isle of Man has risen from 1,925 in 2020 to 2,067 in 2023.
