Two burgeoning technologies will form part of the Information Commissioner Office's annual strategy.
Over the coming year, the ICO says it'll focus on giving practical guidance to companies on adopting artificial intelligence.
According to the office's research, only four percent of businesses are officially using AI systems, with 93 percent having data protection concerns about the tech.
The ICO also says it'll work to fight global threats like non-consensual deepfakes.
