An Executive Agency is welcoming the news of more financial support for tourism businesses ahead of the winter season.
Visit Isle of Man is thanking the Treasury after it was announced this week the Strategic Capacity Scheme, Coronavirus Business Support Scheme and Financial Assistance Scheme will be extended for organisations in tourism and travel until March 31 next year.
Non-Executive Chair of Visit IOM, Ranald Caldwell, says the move comes at a 'critical time' for the industry as it enters the winter period without the reserves the sector would've accrued from normal trading conditions.
Meanwhile, any companies looking to apply for round three of funding for the Strategic Capacity Scheme for Tourist Accommodation can do so from today on the Department for Enterprise website.
