Manx Telecom says 91 per cent of the Island can now access broadband speeds of up to 40 Megabits per second.
It comes as the UK Government hopes to give 95 per cent of homes 24 Megabits by 2018.
MT says it's invested £10 million in more than 170 miles of fibre cabling in the past five years and has completed the final phase of installation works.
But it adds it's already rolled out ultra-fast broadband, with speeds of up to 80 Megabits, to 73 per cent of Island homes.
