A UK man's launched a petition to keep the TT this year.
Mark Lewis of Uttoxeter has set up the petition on change.org, days after Laxey's Giles Ackerley began gathering signatures to have the event called off because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Mr Lewis says cancelling the festival would disappoint thousands of people planning to attend as well as affect small businesses.
So far, 1,300 people have backed calling TT off, while around 110 have signed the petition to keep it.
