Several more EVF garages will be opening exclusively to support the elderly for an hour on Friday.
The company announced this week it's Alexander Drive store in Douglas will be open for anyone of retirement age who may not have someone to shop for them between 2pm-3pm on the day so they can get essentials without worrying about large crowds of people.
Now, the organisation says this initiative will now apply to its stores in Ramsey, Kirk Michael, Foxdale, Laxey and Bray Hill at the same time.
Staff say if they've run out of anything people need, you can write out the items you require and your personal details on a form and they can call you back once the products have arrived in store.
