Island art to inspire during isolation

Residents are being invited to showcase their artistic side to help lift spirits during lockdown.

As part of a new project, Isle of Man Arts Council is reaching out to artists, musicians, poets and dancers to submit videos of their work to keep alive Manx culture and morale during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Chair of the council, Marlene Maska MLC, says they're aiming to uplift the health and wellbeing of residents as well as supporting the efforts of local artists.

Videos can be any form of art and each successful participant will receive £100 for taking part - full information on how to get involved is available on the Isle of Man Arts Council website.
