What economic impact will Covid-19 have on local businesses?
The question comes following the Treasury Minister confirming £7 million is available for a Coronavirus outbreak on the Island.
He said economic concerns are growing, particularly with businesses associated with tourism and leisure.
The Treasury is in daily contact with the Department for Enterprise to assess the potential economic impact from the virus on local companies.
Mr Cannan said government may take enhanced social security measures to provide support to those who may suffer directly.
However, he did say at this stage he doesn't know how long and to what extent Covid-19 may impact on the economy.
