Comis Hotel quarantine under review

The policy of putting repatriated residents in quarantine at the Comis Hotel is under review.

According to Health and Social Care Minister, David Ashford MHK, details are still being worked out on potential changes.

Currently, Manx residents who've been stranded off-Island since the Coronavirus outbreak are required to self-isolate for 14 days at the hotel in Santon on their return.

Mr Ashford revealed clinical leadership has come forward with a new recommendation for the process but no further details are available at this time.
