This years Parish Walk has been cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Organisers confirmed the decision this morning with Race Director, Raymond Cox, saying the safety of walkers and volunteers is the first priority.
Those who've entered for the race this year are being contacted and are being offered the option of deferring their entry until next years occasion which is scheduled for June 19, 2021.
Those not wanting to enter can apply for a refund, with organisers saying that process may take some time but efforts will be made to get it completed as soon as possible.
