The Island Spirituality Network is hosting a meeting at St John's Mill on Saturday 28 January, from 10am till 1pm. The speaker will be Revd Prof David Wilkinson, an astrophysicist, theologian and principal of St John's College, Durham. David is a regular contributor to BBC Radio 4's Thought for the Day. He will be speaking on 'God's gift of science'. There is no charge but voluntary donations may be offered.
Later on Saturday, David will speak at Onchan Methodist chapel's anniversary. A bring-and-share supper will be held at 6.30pm, then David's presentation at 7.00pm, followed by stargazing on the adjacent field. All are welcome.
