Urgent call for new Peel Carnival Committee members.
Each member of the current Peel Carnival committee has served at least 15 years. They have decided that it’s time for them to step down and hand the running of the carnival over to a new committee. Peel carnival has run consecutively for 68 years. This year’s carnival will go ahead, but without new blood there is undoubtedly a question mark over whether there will be a carnival in 2021. The current committee have pledged support, if required, to any new members.
Anyone interested in becoming a member should attend a special open meeting to be held at The Peel Legion Club on Tuesday, 21st January, 2020.
