About Mission Aviation Fellowship
MAF uses light aircraft to reach the world’s most isolated and disadvantaged communities, bringing access to food for hungry children, disaster relief, medical aid, education, livelihood support, church and mission groups and much more.
Aviation is the only way to reach many cut-off, marginalised communities, tackling the injustice of unequal access to these basic services and life chances. For nearly 80 years, MAF has been flying to bring help, hope and healing to remote and isolated people. Thanks to our dedicated supporters, we now fly light aircraft in more than 25 countries, reaching more communities than any other airline.
To celebrate its 40th anniversary, AFD Software —The Postcode People — have decided to donate the first of three new Cessna 208 Caravan aircraft to kickstart MAF’s Fleet for the Future initiative in PNG. This ambitious project will drive MAF’s fleet into the next chapter of high-impact mission flying, enabling MAF pilots and ground staff to offer a more agile, reliable and efficient service.
