Strong to gale force southerly winds will increase to reach gale or severe gale force early this afternoon, peaking around around mid-afternoon with gusts of about 60-65 mph likely and a risk of 70 mph in some exposed spots, before slightly decreasing later in the day. Significant coastal overtopping will occur near the time of high tide (~2:25pm), please see warning for further details. Top temperature 14°C. Outlook Isolated showers and sunny intervals tomorrow, with strong southwest winds and top temperature of 12°C.Dry with bright spells on Thursday, fresh to strong southwest winds easing moderate in the evening and with temperatures up to 12°C.
