During this time the southwesterlies are likely to reach severe gale force with gusts of 60-70 mph, with a risk of 70-80 mph in more exposed spots. A little damage is possible, and at high tide (2am) coastal overtopping will occur in places.Later on tonight the winds will fairly quickly ease, as skies become clear. Tomorrow will then be a bright day with sunny intervals and isolated showers, these wintry on the hills. Still quite breezy with fresh to strong westerly winds and feeling cold, the maximum temperature 8°C. Outlook Quieter through the early to middle part of next week, and becoming warmer.
