Maximum temperature 11°C, with winds progressively getting stronger as the day goes on, reaching severe gale force later in the evening and at first tomorrow night. Gusts of 60-70 mph are likely, with a small risk of 70-80 mph in places, with some damage if the stronger gusts materialise. Through the rest of tomorrow night coastal overtopping will affect some areas at high tide (2am), with winds then easing markedly by dawn.
