Prince Harry arrives at Clarence House to meet the King

Prince Harry has arrived at Clarence House to meet the King.

It will be their first meeting in more than a year.

The last time the father and son saw each other was in February 2024 when the Duke of Sussex flew to London after the monarch announced he was having cancer treatment.

Harry is currently in the UK and earlier on Wednesday he visited the Centre for Blast Injury Studies at Imperial College London, an institution with which he has close connections.

The duke has been carrying out a string of events since arriving back in Britain on Monday.

He began his four-day working stay by leaving flowers at the final resting place of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, to mark the third anniversary of her death.

The King travelled back from his Balmoral home, where he has been spending his summer break.

The duke remains estranged from his older brother the Prince of Wales, who travelled to Cardiff on Wednesday to learn about a mental health hub on World Suicide Prevention Day, with no prospect of the pair meeting.
