Police and the Fire and Rescue Service have released CCTV footage of children lighting an aerosol can on fire at Noble's Park.
Footage was published online via social media last night, showing youths purposefully lighting a fire to cause a small explosion in the skate park area.
Officers said that although no one was hurt and no damage was caused during the incident, parents are being encouraged to warn their children about the dangers of playing with fire.
The Fire Service said anyone with information is asked to contact Pc 206 Lou Kennaugh from the Eastern Community Team on 631419 or email louise.kennaugh@iom.pnn.police.uk.
