Young People across the Island are urged to ensure they’re registered to vote ahead of this years General Election.
The 2011 general election is taking place in September, two months earlier than previous general elections as a result of a change in the legislation.
Treasury Minister Anne Craine is urging everyone eligible to vote to do so, saying that even a small number of votes can make a real difference.
She urges people not to leave it to others to decide who speaks for their community.
Registration is free and can be done at any time up to 21 days before the election.
