A yellow weather warning for coastal overtopping remains in place until 2pm today.
The Met Office says winds are likely to cause minor overtopping at high tide, which is at 11:45am.
Areas most at risk are Douglas, Laxey and Ramsey Promenades.
It adds that further coastal overtopping warnings are expected to be issued over the weekend.
