A yellow weather warning will be in place late tonight and into the early hours of tomorrow morning.
Ronaldsway Met Office is warning of coastal overtopping.
It says the most likely areas that could be affected are the northern end of Douglas Promenade, Fenella Beach in Peel, Castletown Promenade and parts of Shore Road (A5) in Rushen.
The notice is set to be in place from 10pm until 2am on Tuesday.
