A yellow weather warning for heavy rain will be in force on Island this afternoon and tonight.
The notice from Ronaldsway Met Office runs from 11am until 10pm today with the whole Island likely to be affected.
Showers could cause areas of standing water and some localised flooding - it's expected the heaviest downpours will happen late morning to early afternoon and again in the early evening.
Forecasters say during the course of today up to 30mm of rainfall could fall in most areas and up to 50mm on higher ground.
