A weather warning for coastal overtopping will come in to force on Island later today.
The yellow notice is in place from 7.30pm until 11.30pm.
Forecasters predict strong to gale force winds which will see debris and sea water spill onto exposed coastal roads.
Areas likely to be affected include Douglas, Laxey, Ramsey and Castletown promenade.
