A yellow weather warning will come into force later today for coastal overtopping.
The Ronaldsway met Office says the areas most at risk are Castletown, Douglas, Laxey and Ramsey Promenades, and Shore Road in Rushen.
Minor overtopping of waves is expected with the risk of debris in the most exposed areas.
The warning will be in place from 11am until 3pm today.
