A team of would-be record breakers is on the Island today hoping to inspire children to take up a career in engineering.
The Bloodhound Landspeed team is promoting careers in engineering and technology to students - parts of the vehicle are being made here on the Isle of Man.
The project hopes to set a brand new landspeed record of more than 1,000mph in a desert in South Africa.
An exhibition is open to the public from 9am until 6pm tomorrow at the Motor Museum in Jurby.
