A Douglas MHK is urging people to keep their doors locked after a spate of incidents.
Douglas South member Claire Christian took to Facebook to issue a warning to those living in Anagh Coar and Ballacottier.
She says a number of residents have reported people trying to get into their homes at night by trying the front door.
In her post, she says people should make sure their doors are locked at night and report any such incident to police.
